Things to do in Helensburgh

The Tower

The Tower in Helensburgh is a new centre dedicated to Arts & Digital learning, development & performance located in the heart of the town on Sinclair Street. Watch the latest movie in the comfort of a sofa while sipping a drink from the bar.

The Scottish Submarine Centre

Scotland only submarine museum and education centre. Based in Helensburgh the home of the UK's Submarine fleet.

  

The centre provide visitor with information about submarines and how they work. The centre uses immersive video and audio to provide learning experiences about the exploits of the submarine service and the people involved. 

Various Coffee Shops

Having a relaxing coffee in the town centre at one of the many coffee shops such as Costa, The Coffee Club, Humbles, The Terrace, The Ginger Bread Man & Craigard.

Shopping on the Seafront

There are a wide variety of shops in Helensburgh ranging from your everyday traditional shops to the more unusual Helensburgh Specific shops. Look out for Amarylis, Shooftie, Tweedie and Auch Aye!

Helensburgh Heroes and 50's Diner

The Heroes Centre is situated in the heart of Helensburgh. It houses a Helensburgh Heroes Exhibition, Hucksters 50s Cafe, Visitor Centre and Gift Shop. Famous Helensburgh sons and daughters include, John Logie Baird, Henry Bell & Deborah Kerr.

There are many churches catering for everyone which  hosts various clubs including a Buddist meditation centre.
